Sire Comme il Faut had a very successful career with Marcus Ehning at CSI5* level, with Grand Prix victories in Chantilly, Prague, Barcelona, Brussels and Madrid. The dam of Comme il Faut is none other than “Ratina Z”. With a Silver medal and two Olympic Gold medals in Barcelona 1992 and Atlanta 1996, as well as countless World Cup and Grand Prix victories, Ratina Z is also known as the “mare of the century”.

It is therefore no surprise that Comme il Faut is already ranked 7th in the WBFSH rankings. With offspring such as Olympic Champion Checker 47, Carla NRW, Chardonnay, Chao Lee, Clearound IL Mondo and many other upcoming stars, he may take over the number 1 position in the WBFSH ranking in the coming years. Comme il Faut will be of invaluable importance to the future of show-jumping breeding.

The dam Dadais van het Kastanjehof won the Swedish championship in Falsterbo as a 5 year old and participated in the World Championships for Young Horses in Lanaken. She has since competed successfully, achieving over 40 placements in up to 140 classes, before entering the breeding program. With her carefully, attitude end technique, she is very great value of breeding!

In addition, she is the full sister of the 1.60 m Grand Prix horse Boo van het Kastanjehof. With Andrew Welles, she won in Tryon and finished 2nd in Wellington. She also achieved 3rd place finishes in Lexington, Wellington and Tryon, as well as several other placings on her record.

Granddam Kacha van het Kastanjehof (Pachat II) is also the dam of the 1.40 m horse Guyana van het Kastanjehof, ridden by Swedish rider Camilla Ahlén. As a granddam, she has also proven to be very valuable, with no fewer than 5 horses competing at 1.40–1.50 m level.

Third dam Wondra (Fleuri du Manoir) is the dam of the 1.40 m horse Nistrum van het Kastanjehof and also the granddam of Argentina van het Kastanjehof, who has competed at 1.40 m level.
