Sire Ermitage Kalone, ridden by Gilles Thomas, recently claimed bronze at the European Championships and needs little further introduction. Victories in Paris and at the Global Champions Tour in Shanghai have established him as a true crowd favourite. With no fewer than 18 approved sons already, Ermitage Kalone is rapidly making his mark as a sire of light-footed, modern sport horses.

The dam sire Chacco-Blue was for years the leader of the WBFSH ranking. Since 2025, he has held third place, yet with 17 offspring among the world’s top 300, his influence on international show jumping remains unparalleled. Chacco-Blue continues to dominate the world rankings through numerous 1.60m Grand Prix performers, including Cornet Blue PS, Chacco’s Girlstar, Hello Chadora Lady, Blue Movie, Chanyon and Chalou. His offspring are renowned for their unlimited scope, exceptional attitude and true winning mentality.

Taloubet concluded his remarkable sporting career in style, winning the World Cup in Leipzig in his final competition. In Leipzig, he claimed the World Cup no fewer than three times, including the 2011 World Cup Final. His achievements also include an Olympic bronze medal in Rio de Janeiro, as well as World Cup victories in Stuttgart, Mechelen and Madrid. His record speaks for itself: 105 five-star starts, 45 World Cup competitions, 26 international victories and 9 championships, with an outstanding career earnings total of more than two million in prize money.

The dam of this embryo is the six-year-old Chacca Star SR Z, who attracted attention as a sport horse before being sold to the USA. She is also the half-sister of Jaloubet K, competing successfully at 1.45m level with Tatiana Keys Holder Andrews (MEX).

The third dam Jolanda brings yet another legendary name to this pedigree: she is the dam of Olympic champion and show-jumping legend Big Star.
