Mylord Carthago x Elvis ter Putte x Ferro x Calvados x Voltaire

Sire Mylord Carthago was highly successful at the highest level of the sport and has become a household name in modern international show-jumping breeding. Ranked 5th in the WBFSH rankings, thanks to top performers such as Dexter De Kerglenn, Vertigo du Desert, Timon d’Aure and Bingo du Parc, he is of immense value to today’s show-jumping breeding programs.

The dam, Jinea, competed at 1.30m level as a six-year-old when the COVID-19 pandemic broke out and competitions were cancelled. Having already demonstrated her quality as a sport horse, she was immediately introduced to breeding. This produced her son Popcorn, who recently won the six-year-old Youngster Tour in Bonheiden, Belgium.

The granddam, SinSinea Go, herself competed at 1.35m level, but has been particularly successful as a broodmare. She is the dam of Woodstock O, who competed at 1.60m Grand Prix level with Laura Kraut. Floyd O (Carthino Z) also competed at 1.40m level with several Irish riders. As a five-year-old, he was the most expensive show jumper at the Sale of the Rising Stars, selling for €160,000.

The third dam, Mirage Minea (Voltaire), also competed successfully at 1.35m level and produced a series of talented show jumpers. Twingo Tinea-GO (Calvados) competed at 1.45m level with Joaquín Luaces (ESP), while Grazia-GO reached 1.40m level and four other offspring competed at 1.35m level.

The fourth dam, Ginea, competed at 1.50m level herself and has also proven to be an exceptionally valuable broodmare. She produced no fewer than three 1.60m Grand Prix horses, as well as one 1.55m, one 1.45m and one 1.40m show jumper.
