Wabanang is an exceptional dressage colt combining outstanding movement with a powerful, proven pedigree and generations of sport performance in his dam line.

His sire, Total McLaren, is an exceptional nine-year-old son of the legendary Totilas, combining the world-renowned bloodlines of Totilas, De Niro and Sandro Hit. His grandsire, Totilas, became a true legend of dressage with Edward Gal, brings the sport to an entirely new level.

Together, Totilas and Edward Gal achieved record after record in an incredibly short period. Totilas broke the world record three times: first at the 2009 European Championships with 90.75% in the Freestyle, followed by 92.30% at Windsor, and finally at the 2010 CHIO Aachen, where he scored 86.45% in the Grand Prix Special. Totilas became World Champion in Kentucky, European Champion in Windsor, FEI World Cup winner in 2010 and Dutch National Champion twice.

Wabanang’s dam is the Ster-Sport mare Pamukkale of Gold, a talented six-year-old daughter of the Negro son Night or Day. Pamukkale of Gold is already competing successfully at Z2 level and is being trained towards the higher levels of dressage.

His granddam, Heart of Gold, by Bon Bravour, also competed successfully at Z1 level.

The third dam, Vita Da Wanda, is a daughter of the Grand Prix stallion Lancet and has produced both a Z1 and a Z2 dressage horse.

The fourth dam, Wanda, by Pericles xx, was the full sister of the famous piebald Grand Prix stallion Samber. Through her offspring, she has demonstrated for generations that the exceptional dressage genes within this maternal line are firmly established.

Wanda produced the Grand Prix horse Iwan (Rossini), as well as successful offspring such as Ghandi, who competed at Light Tour level, and the Z2 horses Donar and Tyrone, further confirming her outstanding breeding value. As a granddam, Wanda also stands at the foundation of numerous successful Prix St. Georges, Intermediaire I and Grand Prix horses, including Vendor Go (Vivus) and Caramba (Oscar) at Grand Prix level, as well as Damacho (Winingmood), Love For You (Lord Leatherdale) and Red River Lady (Rossini), who all competed successfully at Prix St. Georges and Intermediaire I level.
